Heath L. Golden is President and Chief Executive Officer of Hampshire Group, Limited. Mr. Golden was appointed to the role in August 2009 and is responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the Company. He was previously Chief Operating Officer of Hampshire where he oversaw all aspects of the Company’s business management and operations as well as key strategic planning and legal affairs. Shortly after Mr. Golden assumed his current role, he spearheaded the development and implementation of the Company’s restructuring and cost reduction program to improve efficiency and position the business for long-term growth.
Mr. Golden joined the Company in August 2005 as Vice President of Business Development and later served as Vice President of Administration, General Counsel and Secretary of Hampshire. Prior to joining Hampshire, Mr. Golden was an attorney at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP.
Eric G. Prengel is President of Hampshire Group, Limited’s Men’s Division overseeing the Company’s Hampshire Brands business. In this role, Mr. Prengel is responsible for all areas of the Men’s business, including Sourcing, Design, Sales and Marketing.
Mr. Prengel joined the Company in October 2010 with nearly two decades of expertise in developing and growing menswear brands, most recently as Executive Vice President of Global Business Development at HMX LLC (formerly Hartmarx Corporation). In that position, Mr. Prengel where oversaw the international development of all HMX brands, including Hickey Freeman, Hart Schaffner Marx, and Bobby Jones as well as all aspects of the domestic product license program. Previously, he served as Group President of HMX Sportswear, responsible for the Sales, Design, Operations and Finance teams, where he successfully implemented strategic re-branding initiatives to re-energize brands such as Jack Nicklaus and Ted Baker. Prior to that, Mr. Prengel held various leadership positions at Marc Ecko Enterprises, Polo Ralph Lauren and Kenneth Cole Menswear.
